So as people get ready to celebrate Weezy’s release(like he is going to change the world and end world hunger) and I think about the Wiz Khalifa videos I watched last night some thoughts came to my head.  The main one being Damn these guys have a good bit of ink!!!!!

This leads me back to when I was in computer school and a
African American teacher asked me…..”why do you want get  all of those tattoos like those white boys?”. I chuckled it off like I did so many other comments from people who didn’t like my tattoos, music, chain wallet, vans,or tight fitting clothes.

Now as I look around the city when I am walking to work and on TV all I see is youngins “tatted”up as some folks say and wearing tight clothes, chain wallets and vans slip ons. Well PISH POSH…..”You ain’t been!!!!”

I am not saying I am the first or that I did it for recognition….it was who I was and who I am but I took the heat for some of you young clowns that now think you are the next weezy lupe khalifa.

Wipe that similac from your top lip and before you look at me with my work clothes on and my worst(still new) pair of everyday sneakers know that I have more kicks than you have boxers. Bettaknowdat!!!!!

PS: A fitted with a straight bill DOES not make you an automatic tough guy just the same as a bootleg tapout shirt from the boardwalk does not.

i can remember when i was a young cat..the nba all star game was always something i waited for because of a few reasons..1 the dunk contest, 2 michael jordan always broke out the black version of the latest air jordans, and 3 the all star game on sunday…well now things are broken..there are no mj or mars blackmon commercials, the new style dunk contest and its participants are horrible and still having fans vote just makes no sense!!

we all know the old dunk format that goes back as far as dr.j and kenny  “sky” walker was the best…and what the hell is the reason you cannot get one of your better all stars to compete?? an lbj vs kobe final would be amazing for the league and the fans my man.

all star voting…tracy mcgrady who I think has played no more than a 1/2 an hour all season was almost a starter for the west…does that make any sense?? ai is a starter for the east and he has only played 20 games this season after “retiring” craziness.my man chauncy billups didn’t make the team and one of the best and most consistant rookies(ty lyson) didnt make the rookie game….to me an all star game is more about skill and who is doing well during the first part of the season..not a popularity contest..if they want that let them run for student council…

let’s get thing straight before you use a lot more fans. sweetin’ the slam dunk pot and less fan input on who should start and play in the all star game

thanks

**maybe this will help your memory of how it used to be:

as i sit here on the t i think…after 1 year am i happy…NOPE..not at all! now i am not inside the rooms and we really don’t know what goes on. i am sure its hard to deal with some of these other republicans that are still pouting that they lost and want to block every single thing that comes up..but all of the things that were fed to all of these people who volunteered and took weeks and months away from their families have not been done. maybe their is some master plan and i know its going to take more than a year to right 8 years of wrong but give me a sign here my man. give me something to show me that all you said during your campaign wasn’t just some jive to get the super liberals fired up and behind you. i have faith but believe me i am starting to question if it is already too late??

with that being said even if i would have known a little over a year ago what i know today i still would not have voted for mccain and pailin. hell no.no chance..that wasn’t the answer..maybe my choice wasn’t either but those 2 would of made it 4 more years of GW tactics.

so with that being said i beg of you mr. obama. show us some of that fire and promise that you showed us over a year ago. if not it will be hard for me(and I am sure others) to volunteer a week away from my kids again next time and try to sway all of these narrow minded gun toting fools to your side.

thx

listen..i will be the first to admit that i think the systems that are in place are flawed. i see and hear the bs everyday working at the state building downtown and sometimes it drives me nuts. i feel that somehow there needs to be better rules or whatever it takes to get rid of these people who have found a way to scam the system instead of working.  at the same time i feel that americas health care system really needs an overhaul. there are too many people who need coverage that are not covered these days…way too many kids that need to be seen and taken care of that are not because they have no coverage or it is waaay to expensive. really unless you are signing your own checks lets admit..the rise in health care cost across the board is getting a little ridiculous.

what is already beginning to get on my nerves is people starting to complain about a possible tax hike on beer, liquor, and wine. ok..so while i really don’t think that is the end all solution it amazes me that people are whining over an added $2.00 on a case of beer…REALLY..if you can’t come up with 8 fuckin quarters or have a problem with it..stop drinking! that is just bullshit..what this comes down to is this is another tantrum from people who can’t believe we as americans voted in this “baby killing”, “black muslim”, “non american”, “liberal”, socialist for a president. really people…what you should be worried about is how much money g.w. bush and his clan of cronies spent on this war and ALSO how much they made off of this war: here are some statistics below..maybe if these numbers didn’t read so high they wouldn’t have to add these taxes…

U.S. SPENDING IN IRAQ

Spent & Approved War-Spending – About $800 billion of US taxpayers’ funds spent or approved for spending through mid-2009. I

U.S. Monthly Spending in Iraq – $12 billion in 2008

U.S. Spending per Second – $5,000 in 2008 (per Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on May 5, 2008)

Cost of deploying one U.S. soldier for one year in Iraq – $390,000 (Congressional Research Service)

Lost & Unaccounted for in Iraq – $9 billion of US taxpayers’ money and $549.7 milion in spare parts shipped in 2004 to US contractors. Also, per ABC News, 190,000 guns, including 110,000 AK-47 rifles.

Missing – $1 billion in tractor trailers, tank recovery vehicles, machine guns, rocket-propelled grenades and other equipment and services provided to the Iraqi security forces. (Per CBS News on Dec 6, 2007.)

Mismanaged & Wasted in Iraq – $10 billion, per Feb 2007 Congressional hearings

Halliburton Overcharges Classified by the Pentagon as Unreasonable and Unsupported – $1.4 billion(i like to call this cheney’s retirement fund)

Amount paid to KBR, a former Halliburton division, to supply U.S. military in Iraq with food, fuel, housing and other items – $20 billion

Portion of the $20 billion paid to KBR that Pentagon auditors deem “questionable or supportable” – $3.2 billion

Number of major U.S. bases in Iraq – 75 (The Nation/New York Times)

To date, the total cost of war that has been allocated by Congress is $830.2 billion, with $657.3 to Iraq and $172.9 to Afghanistan.

OR pay attention to this….

North Korea said it had successfully conducted its second nuclear test, raising the stakes in the effort to get the nation to give up its nuclear weapons program.

– Following is a full text of the English-language report on North Korea’s KCNA news agency on Monday saying it had conducted a nuclear test:

“The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea successfully conducted one more underground nuclear test on May 25 as part of the measures to bolster up its nuclear deterrent for self-defence in every way as requested by its scientists and technicians.

“The current nuclear test was safely conducted on a new higher level in terms of its explosive power and technology of its control and the results of the test helped satisfactorily settle the scientific and technological problems arising in further increasing the power of nuclear weapons and steadily developing nuclear technology.

“The successful nuclear test is greatly inspiring the army and people of the DPRK all out in the 150-day campaign, intensifying the drive for effecting a new revolutionary surge to open the gate to a thriving nation.

“The test will contribute to defending the sovereignty of the country and the nation and socialism and ensuring peace and security on the Korean Peninsula and the region around it with the might of (the military first policy) Songun.”

so while i don’t agree 100% with how or what we may get taxed on..in the main scheme of things we need to look at our government as a whole…past and present and REALLY pick some issues and problems that need to be changed and dealt with. we also need to look around and take note on some other situations going on around us(ie: article above) NOT some stinky $2.00 tax on a case of beer! i am in now way rich…i bought a case of boulder beer/sweaty betty yesterday for $38 bucks…really..if it goes to $40 do you really think that is going to change my decision on what to buy?.. i will still be sipping on that same cold sweaty betty folks… the people who complain about this are probably the same people who go out and buy a pack and cigarettes for $6 bucks a pack…come on people..i am down for a fight on whats right..but lets use our brains a little bit and fight for something worth while.

***maybe they should legalize marijuana and tax the f@*k out of that right??? ahhh but then someone somewhere wouldn’t be getting rich off of letting drugs slip into this country..and everyone would be growing it in their backyards…so i guess its back to the $2.00 added to a case of brew. well enjoy your beer i am sure i will enjoy mine.

i feel like my life is stuck on fast forward and I am moving at some crazy pace…i know it has part to do with us moving and trying to get out of this fuckin house…it also has to do with me dealing with other shit that just won’t go away. I just hate it right now b/c I feel like I am not treating my body right…eating well…AND most importantly enjoying my family. we are always on the go and I know it will calm down once we are settled in but FUCK it feels like I am a zombie or robot just going through the motions. I want to start an organic garden finally..i may be too late again this year but I am going to try to get a few things planted to see how they turn out…i know things will get back to normal soon and I can’t wait to be sitting on my huge back deck with friends…or in the hot tub…or maybe  sitting on the  balcony/deck off of our bedroom sipping coffee early in the morning before the kids get up.where we will be there is not a lot of traffic and NO NASTY DUPLEX with people up all hours of the night next to me…i just can’t wait for these damn relaxing days to come…the sooner the better…i hope once we get settled in some of you can come over and hang out.

**Special thanks to whomever gave me some write in votes for NBV council..i don’t know who did it(it wasn’t keely or myself)but kee was quite surprised when she stopped up there to drop paperwork off and noticed the totals. She said that under the people that won there was a list of write-in votes and my name was among them. Its flattering to say that least and I wish I was staying in NBV to be a part of local government. Thanks!

I am happy that before I move I was able to vote one last time for all of the people who SHOULD be mayor and council people..there are some already on there that are doing a great job and of course I voted for you last time. I am just happy for a few others that I really wanted to see as mayor, council OR back on council again where her work has been much appreciated.

we are moving…we have a washer, dryer, and stove(all 6 years old) that we need to sale. if you or anyone you know is looking for this type of stuff give me a shout ASAP!!!

still waiting on the results on the MRI from my knee..it hurts…hurts bad..i am kind of scared at what they are going to tell me because i have been putting off these knee issues of a few years now. it finally caught up to me all in the matter of the first 2 minutes in the last dek hockey game…i hope i can still play but i guess we will see after i get the phone call telling me what my MRI says…keep your fingers crossed because i am having a blast playing with all the guys on the shh booms.

alright..thats all for today..be kind and take care of each other!

LETS GO PENS!!!!

here is a little something from my main man BARACK….enjoy

Obama gets snarky on tea parties & FOX

At his town hall meeting in St. Louis, President Barack Obama finally answered a question about the tea parties. If you are a supporter or watch FOX News, well, you probably are not going to like his snark:

“Those of you who are watching certain news channels on which I’m not very popular, and you see folks waving tea bags around,” Obama said, “let me just remind them that I am happy to have a serious conversation about how we are going to cut our health care costs down over the long term, how we are going to stabilize Social Security.

“But,” Obama added, “let’s not play games and pretend that the reason [for the deficit] is because of the Recovery Act.”

I think this is the moment when you say ‘snap.’

HAHAHAHAHA!

oh so i am sick and tired of the media trying the scare the shit out of us with the dreaded swine word. as i sit here and listen to bad brains i wonder how did this really come about..i know i am half off my rocker and have all these conspiracy theories…but i really do wonder how this really got started..could it be one of the last smoke screens planted by our former fearless leaders??

***Gilead Sciences bought the Tamiflu from Roche Laboratories. Rumsfeld was the president of Gilead Sciences at the time and today he still a large shareholder. Rumsfeld later sold the patent back to Roche for a fortune. Tamiflu has never been verified as being even the slightest bit effective. Just another elaborate scheme of corruption.(a little tid bit of info that i thought i knew about and was confirmed by the man with the master plan j. horvath..thanks)

people always chuckle when we spend our last pennies on trying to feed our kids mostly organic products…another story coming out local is to how the USDA is dropping the ball on really cracking down on high hormones and antibiotics in animals. a local farm was found to have DOUBLE the allowed amount of antibiotics in its animals..what the the usda do…fine them??? nope…make them get rid of the meat..naaah..they put them on this website that list them as an offender..hahahahaha..what a joke…really..how many people are going to go look at or even know about this site when they are going to go buy milk, eggs or meat from a farm..i am sure not that many…what a joke..even the farmer said he was disturbed at the fact that nothing was done. cases of high antibiotics and hormones have led to people getting sick with illnesses that they have nothing to treat them with..sorry folks i will stick with buying organic as much as i can..taking my trips to whole foods and being broke.
